Later this month, I'm thrilled to join my friend Rabbi Alex Shuval-Weiner and her community at Temple Beth Tikvah in Roswell, GA. for a long weekend celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut (Israel's 70th birthday) and Earth Day. (And Shabbat of course. Don't forget Shabbat.)
In May, I'll be playing a Havdalah Cafe and sticking around for Tikun L'eil Shavuot (like a late-night study party, only with cheesecake) at Congregation Beth Hatikvah in Bremerton, WA. I'm still hoping to add another house concert in the area that weekend, so if you're a Seattlelite with a house to share, drop me a line and let's set up something now!
During this month and next I'll also continue with songwriting, playing out at open mics and lining up shows on the coffee house circuit for later Summer in the Portland-Vancouver area.
Then it's back to Machane Jehudah Camp for another Incredible June! More on that later.
Looking farther ahead, I'm booking stops on my Pastrami Sufganiyot Tour of Florida during Chanukah. I have confirmed dates in Palm Coast and Boca Raton, and will soon be adding Orlando and possibly Coral Gables to the list. I am still looking for a Miami area stop to make my tour complete!
Stay tuned, and if you're a Floridian who wants to bring me to your community, Let's Talk!
Spring is blooming here in Portland, with daffodils, tulips and cherry and plum blossoms adding beautiful colors to our otherwise green landscape. Enjoy the blooming of the season, and if you celebrate Pesach, hang in there. Pizza is coming this weekend!
