1. Havurah Shalom. Thanks to my Havurah for continuing to encourage and support my music-making. I thoroughly enjoyed our second night community seder this year and was glad to see so many of you there!
2. Mike and the crew at World Cup Coffee & Tea in northwest Portland, for hosting a wonderful May Day coffee time show. You guys take such good care of me and are so appreciative of my music. I look forward to playing there again before the end of the summer.
Secondly, some gratitude to the folks who are helping me vision the next several months on this path:
1. The crazy-smart, super-awesome ladies in my Torah study cohort. I cannot wait to visit each of you and your synagogues in the coming year-plus! Thank you for keeping me honest and helping me grow in Torah, good deeds and mindfulness. I love all of you and am grateful that we had the good sense to put this together!
2. Shout-out to Sharon Fendrich, who has taken on the unofficial role of marketing consultant and is acting as my connection to folks in our local community for the purpose of doing good and allowing me more places to share my music. I'll be announcing a couple of House Concerts in July and August respectively, which will help me raise money for some recording AND also for charitable organizations that do good. Stay tuned to this page and my Facebook page for details.
And a BIG thank-you to my sweetie, always and forever, for believing in me and encouraging me to think boldly and stay the course when things get complex and/or unclear. She remains firmly committed to the power of the word YET and teaches me to believe in it more every day.
I am adding dates to my Calendar page as they are confirmed, so check back regularly.
And thanks for supporting handmade Jewish music!
