I must be going to Jewish camp!
Camp Solomon Schechter, here I come!
That said, I want to give a shout out to everyone who has jumped on board the Cargo Bike Of Creativity and gotten involved in my Indiegogo campaign since it began. Over 40 of you have helped me to raise $1,560 towards my $3,600 goal so I can record "A Sliver In The Sky" this fall. THANK YOU for getting involved in this project and helping me realize my dream of creating an Open Source Jewish Music collection.
I will be out of electronics range during most of my stay at camp, so you won't see regular updates from me this week; but please know that the work I'll be doing with the campers and staff is exactly why I believe in Open Source Jewish music! Only by sharing and spreading the love around can we hope to encourage the kind and level of musical creativity our young people need to carry it forward. I am humbled and thrilled to be one of many teachers who are helping to "hook" the next generation of Jewish music leaders.
I promise to bring back photos, music and memories from my time at camp. meanwhile, thank you all for getting involved in this project, and thank you for spreading the word (by sharing the link below)!
